This entire thread is going to come with a huge content warning attached. We will discuss the beliefs and actions of white supremacists and at points share their uncensored propaganda and memes as evidence of their bigotry and violence.

Viewers, before we proceed with this episode, we’ll have to clarify where a lot of this filth originates: /k/. 4chan’s allegedly apolitical militaria and weapons board — in many ways — gave birth to the Boogaloo Movement

Yet /k/ could not exist without /pol/, which intermingle in an incestuous two-step. Once redpilled on /pol/ a tap on the shoulder and you’re spirited away to get your small arms and bushcraft training for the Boogaloo or your local Right Wing Death Squad.

As /k/ is “apolitical” direct discussion of genocide is frowned upon, yet hinted toward through focus on “historical firearms” and kits such as that of the white supremacist settler colony Rhodesia (present day Zimbabwe)

For white supremacists, Rhodesia is the perfect encapsulation of “white genocide.” The settlers defeat is used as a rallying cry to “Make Zimbabwe Rhodesia Again”. White supremacist and mass murderer Dylan Roof’s manifesto was even called “The Last Rhodesian”

Which brings us to the subject of today’s episode, Kolton Kenneth Tolleson (age 24) of Texarkana: Boogaloo Movementarian, TikTok-er, ex-Navy veteran and member of the Texas Guerrillas Militia

Despite photography circulating making it appear Kolton and sections of the broader Boogaloo movement are genuine supporters of BLM, they are instead cynical opportunists with only acceleration and self-interest in mind.

Previous to his time as an electronics technician in the Navy, Kolton was a big “MilSim” (military simulation) and airsoft LARPer. It’s currently unclear what Kolton does for a living outside of grift on TikTok. More on that later.

Colton likes Rhodesia. A lot. He likes Rhodesia so much he spray painted his FN-FAL (the service gun of the Rhodesian military) the trademark Rhodesian “baby poop” camo. He also got a tattoo of the FN-FAL on his right forearm.

Kolton is a member of the Texas Guerillas Militia, a militia which has strong overlap with the United States Boogalier Corps covered in our previous thread. On the left is a photo of the Texas Guerrilla Militia “Task Force Foster.” On the Right is USBC propaganda

The Boogaloo Movement aggressively co-opted the killing of BLM supporter Garrett Foster. While Foster was apparently associated with the broader Liberty Movement he was not a Boogaloo Boy. Kolton gained popularity for his TikTok and speaking at a the Austin vigil for Garrett Foster.

In addition Kolton is well know within the Boogaloo Movement for his Boogaloo TikToks. Here’s one of Kolton’s TikToks where he says a anti-racist organizer needs to “shut the fuck up” and advocates for the preservation of Confederate monuments.

He also likes to post fashwave edits of himself and uses his TikTok to raise funds for him to go be a vigilante in Kenosha or Lousiana for example (where he organized patrols with the Texas Guerrillas Militia and III%ers)

Witness if you will one of the largest Boogaloo chats on MeWe, “Big Luau Fire Pit” numbering in at 1597 members at the time of this posting. Out of Big Luau Fire Pit, the United States Boogaliers Corp was born and at their head “Obi Boog Kenobi” who we will expose in this thread.

Following a wave of deplatforming on Facebook and Discord, Boogaloo Boys flocked to MeWe, a “privacy focused” alternative to Facebook. Many Boogaloo pages remain on Facebook. Facebook just doesn’t care enough to remove militia pages.

Yet once Boogaloo Boys started pouring into Big Luau Fire Pit, the main admin formed a “board of directors” with the other five admins and in a blatant power grab centralized the chat into his own national militia and non-profit, the United States Boogalier Corp.

Infighting ensued with many, including the Big Igloo Bois group unhappy with the decision to become a non-profit complete with their own branding, media, and propaganda bureau

As a nationally organized militia hoping for a second civil war, becoming a non-profit is an odd move but one made with optics in mind. Regardless they have a media wing “Hibiscus Society” as well as an intermediary press page “Tree of Liberty” both are subordinate to the USBC.

Which brings us to USBC’s most self-promoting administrator and councilmember, “Obi Boog Kenobi” aka Kristofer Hunter of Waco, Texas. Kris is an ex-army combat engineer and anti-mask “activist” eager to put his military training to work on the people of Central Texas.

When he’s not quoting himself, Kris talks strategy with the Boogaloo Boys in his chat and shares his counterinsurgency training to plan out their entryism into Black Lives Matter protests.

The USBC had to issue a statement distancing themselves from the Proud Boys, but they also allegedly disavowed Kyle Rittenhouse yet internally they have the chat tagged with #/FreeKyleRittennhouse and love sharing memes glorifying their favorite mass shooter.  ***CW Below:***

Kris and the USBC have adopted many core tenets and ideas from the QAnon #/SaveTheChildren campaign. Kris helped organize the Justice for Sophie rally attended by white nationalists including John Decicco Jr. who we’ve talked about previously. Here’s Kris front and center.

A group of Nazi propagandists within the Boogaloo Movement are going by the fashionable name P A T R I O T Wave. At their helm, a US Navy Reservist, one Jordan Lee Shepherd: alias “Squid,” the founder and owner of the brand. Enter P A T R I O T Wave.

P A T R I O T Wave first came to the attention of antifascists, press, and researchers following the 1/20/20 Virginia Citizens Defense League Lobby Day where Jordan and a group of supporters sported P A T R I O T Wave patches and siege-style skull-masks made popular by neo-nazi terror groups like Atomwaffen Division. P A T R I O T Wave was also covered in Robert Evans and Jason Wilson’s piece for Bellingcat, “The Boogaloo Movement Is Not What You Think”.

When Jordan and P A T R I O T Wave aren’t organizing irl and mainstreaming accelerationism, they’re propagandizing their followers on their Facebook “Boogaloo” page and discord, as well as evading bans through their associated network of individual admin pages.

Amidst COVID social distancing these pages function as hate groups, allowing the administrators to drum up enough fervor to ensure future violent action is taken against their defined ideological enemies. Below is propaganda from P A T R I O T Wave admin  “Molotov”.

They’re on their fourth iteration of P A T R I O T Wave now with various individual admin pages. These can be easily found linked on the pages shown above. Open source investigators and antifascists are also welcome to DM for more information and potential leads for further investigation.

Jordan views his fashwave propaganda as modern revolutionary war pamphlets. P A T R I O T Wave’s work and memetics appear to be quite effective, modernizing “Right Wing Death Squad” memes and accelerationist aesthetics to fit the libertarian and constitutional framework of the Boogaloo.

P A T R I O T Wave is a major factor in the spread of /k/ (4chan’s weapon’s board) and Boogaloo style memes and propaganda points. Examples include the veneration of the white supremacist settler-colony Rhodesia (present day Zimbabwe) as well as their infamous service rifle, the FN FAL. 

Jordan’s particular positionality within the military as well as role as owner of P A T R I O T Wave is particularly worrisome. Not only is he privy to military training and knowledge he also appears to demonstrate an adherence to esoteric Nazism and racist Paganism.

With militia and Boogaloo violence worsening across the country it is particularly important that these fascists can no longer hide behind libertarian or constitutionalist optics. Simply put Patriot Wave and their adherents are fucking Nazis.
